2014 Bundaberg Relay For Life is at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct from 3pm Saturday 16th August 2014 to Sunday 9:30am 17th August 2014.

Relay For Life is not just about the amazing experience on the day. It’s also about the fun ways your team can raise money in the lead up to the event. Cancer Council is not government funded. We need your support to help to reduce the impact of cancer. Relay 2014 will start Officially at 2:30pm, you will be able to start setting up from 9am. Canteen will open at 12 noon. It will finish with the Closing Ceremony at 9am on Sunday morning.

Relay is open to all ages and is a wonderful opportunity to meet some of our Survivors as well as participate and help in raising money and awaareness of Cancer so that we can all work to beating this terrible disease. Relay For Life began in the USA when, in 1985 Dr Gordy Klatt raised over $27,000 for his local cancer charity by running around an oval for 24 hours. Since then, thousands of events take place across the globe every year. Bundaberg raised more than $120,000 in 2012.
